ResoNook — Home Noise Log Privacy Policy

01 A Local Noise Journal

ResoNook helps you organize home-noise observations locally. It does not require an account and does not automatically upload audio or journal entries.

02 Records You Create

A record may include a title, room label, scenario, time, notes, markers, and relative estimates. You may choose to keep an audio capture with that record.

03 Microphone Permission

The microphone is requested only after you choose to begin a capture. It supports a local recording and relative level, frequency, duration, waveform, and marker estimates.

04 Storage and Deletion

Journal entries and kept audio remain on your device until you delete a record or clear local archives. You can view, export, or delete existing records without starting a new capture.

05 Exports

When you export a PDF or CSV, ResoNook opens the iOS share sheet. You choose the recipient and are responsible for the handling of the exported file after sharing.

06 No Tracking

The app has no advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics.

07 Security and Contact

Use device security and reasonable care when recording or exporting sensitive material.

08 Context Labels

Room names, scenarios, notes, and markers are labels you choose. They are not independently verified by the app.

09 Audio Choices

You choose whether to retain a capture. Consider local recording laws and the privacy of people who may be audible before beginning a capture.

10 Estimate Handling

Relative estimates are calculated for comparison within the journal. The app does not send them to a measurement service for validation.

11 System Share Sheet

Export is initiated only by you. ResoNook does not select recipients or receive a copy of a report you share.

12 Device Storage

Low storage, device replacement, or app removal may affect local archives. Keep any record you need independently.
